Erica Rivers, M.A., L.P.C. Supervisor, C.P.T., M.B.A.
Erica is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Texas (TX#19707) with a Master’s degree in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from Virginia Tech. Additionally, she has a second Master’s degree in Business Administration from Liberty University.
Erica has many years of experience in the field of counseling with a background in medical rehabilitation, relationship counseling, pain management, and domestic violence assistance. With 15+ years experience of personal training, she has learned that the mind, body, and spirit must all be addressed in order to overcome certain difficulties. Erica uses an array of counseling techniques (cognitive-behavioral, family systems, Biblical counseling, hypnosis, etc) in working with clients. Erica is committed to offering people from all backgrounds hope, respect, and compassion.
She genuinely and empathetically enjoys walking alongside people and encouraging them as they take steps toward their goals. She enjoys working with individuals and groups for issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, anger, and fitness. Additionally, Erica offers personal training services for clients whose goal is improved fitness, toning, or healthy aging. At times, she will combine counseling and personal training services for what Forte calls Therapeutic Fitness. Erica also enjoys leading groups and teaching seminars on topics of health, well-being, depression, and interpersonal dynamics.
Willie B. Williams, Jr., M.A., L.P.C. (TX License#: 65694)
Willie is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Educator providing individual, premarital, marital, and group counseling. He enjoys offering seminars and workshops to individuals, organizations and non-profits. He has many years of experience, leadership, and education. He loves helping people towards healthy change offering caring, professional assistance. He consults with and counsels individuals and organizations to facilitate positive growth and change.
Willie recently wrote a book entitled, "Mama, Is That a Man?" in which he describes the struggle that many young men deal with developing their identity as men in a culture full of confusing messages. Willie loves working with young men as they grow to figure out their purposes, values, and goals. Additionally, Willie enjoys offering counsel and training to married couples who are struggling in their relationships. Willie has experience in pastoral counseling and offers a Biblical perspective for those who want it.
Sandra Lynam, M.A., L.M.F.T.
Sandi holds a Master's Degree in Counseling from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. She is licensed in the state of Texas (TX#5058) and is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She is trained in EMDR, hypnotherapy, family systems, CBT, and Biblically-informed counseling. She enjoys accepting patients where they are and caringly assisting them in moving toward their goals to live healthier, happier, and productive lives. She brings a unique blend of humor, compassion, and realism to help couples, families, and individuals see their lives in a new way and make positive changes.
Sandi has over 14 years of experience offering individual, group, and couples counseling to adults and teenagers. She enjoys helping people find hope and healing with respect, compassion, and a variety of tools to facilitate growth.
Shawne' Poplar, M.A., L.P.C.
Shawne’ graduated from The University of North Texas in 2009 with a degree in Psychology, and Dallas Baptist University with a Masters of Arts in Counseling in 2012. Shawne’ is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas (TX #70239).
Shawne’ is dedicated to walking alongside her clients, leading them to positive changes, growth, and healing. Shawne’s specializes in trauma work, play therapy, family dynamics, and group dynamics. She is trained to work with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with difficult life circumstances including anxiety, depression, traumatic life events, ADD, relationship issues, eating disorders, body image issues, and self esteem issues. She seeks to provide realistic and effective solutions for hope and healing, that take into account the uniqueness of each client.
Garen Gasparro, LCSW
Garen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas (TX#: 58941) with a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master's Degree in Education from Mercy College. Additionally, she has a Bachelor's Degree in Musical Theater from the University at Buffalo in New York State.
Garen has several years of experience as a counselor and worked at an inpatient psychiatric facility with adults and adolescents providing individual and group therapy, family counseling, and case management services. In addition, she has experience as a Special Education Teacher, Curriculum director, and Special Education Director. Garen's creative background in the performing arts enables her to convey material to you in a meaningful, holistic, and insightful manner. She is dedicated to creating a conducive therapeutic environment in which you can feel safe to share your thoughts, feelings, and ask questions as you take steps toward growth and healing. Georgette Wells, LCSW
Georgette is a Licensed Social Worker. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Denver and a Masters of Social Work from Clark Atlanta University. Georgette has several years of experience providing individual and group therapy to adults from diverse populations and various settings: military installations, universities, community agencies and inpatient psychiatric facilities.
Georgette is trained in EMDR and is Trauma Certified through Colin Ross Institute for Psychological Trauma. She uses an integrative approach to counseling to include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Sand Tray, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). She tailors her approach to ensure that each person's unique qualities and needs are met.
